Racing Incident Report
CHEERS VICTORIES had its left front plate refitted in the Parade Ring. On arriving at the barriers, CHEERS VICTORIES was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. After being loaded, FUN FASTER became fractious. Before being allowed to race again, FUN FASTER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. BULLISH FRIEND began awkwardly and then in the early stages got its head on the side and lay in. KING OF WINE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, CHEERS VICTORIES and LET ME TOO bumped. Also shortly after the start, NAUGHTY BABY was crowded for room between MARCO POLO and DASHING SUPER which shifted out. Passing the 800 Metres, DASHING SUPER was crowded for room between MARCO POLO and TREASURE MAN, both of which shifted ground. Approaching the 400 Metres, NAUGHTY BABY was shifted in a considerable way to obtain clear running. After this, NAUGHTY BABY got its head on the side and hung in. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that FIERY WHISPERER had lost its right front plate. A veterinary inspection of SICHUAN EXPRESS after the race did not show any significant findings. BULLISH FRIEND, FIERY WHISPERER and LET ME TOO were sent for sampling.
