Racing Incident Report

HONG KONG DANCER began awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with the hindquarters of SAMMY’S FALCON.
Shortly after the start, MY NAME IS BOND was steadied when crowded for room between IMPERIAL ROME and DR SUPER which shifted out.
From a wide barrier, TOUCH GO was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
Making the turn near the 1000 Metres, GOOD WORDS got its head on the side and hung in.
Near the 900 Metres, MY NAME IS BOND got its head up and over-raced when awkwardly placed close to the heels of SAMMY’S FALCON.
Passing the 600 Metres, MY NAME IS BOND was steadied away from the heels of SAMMY’S FALCON, again got its head up and shifted out towards the heels of JUN GONG.
Making the turn after the 600 Metres, HONG KONG DANCER became unbalanced after shifting in and making contact with the running rail.
In the Straight, MY NAME IS BOND hung in and proved difficult to ride.
For the major part of the race, FIONN’S TREASURE travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that SAMMY’S FALCON had sustained a small wound to the outside of the left hind fetlock.
A veterinary inspection of DR SUPER after the race revealed the horse to have blood at the right nostril. The Veterinary Officer said an endoscopic examination confirmed the horse to be a bleeder.
A veterinary inspection of FIONN’S TREASURE after the race did not show any significant findings.
IMPERIAL ROME and GOOD WORDS were sent for sampling.
