Racing Incident Report

GLORIAM began only fairly and then was bumped on the hindquarters by GOLDEN FOUR which from a wide barrier was being steadied to obtain cover.
KING KANALOA and CITY LEGEND bumped at the start.
CARE FREE PRINCE and SHINING ON bumped at the start.
When being steadied and shifted across to obtain cover in the early stages, KING KANALOA (N Callan) struck the heels of GLORIAM. In this incident, GLORIAM lost its left front plate. N Callan will be advised to display more judgement when shifting ground in similar circumstances.
Passing the 1200 Metres, SHINING ON was awkwardly placed close to the heels of CARE FREE PRINCE which shifted out marginally when being ridden along to obtain a forward position. After this, SHINING ON was left racing wide and without cover.
Making the turn after the 900 Metres, AVELLINO got its head on the side and shifted out towards the heels of FLYING QUEST.
Passing the 650 Metres, KING KANALOA shifted out abruptly away from the heels of GOLDEN FOUR when racing greenly.
Also passing the 650 Metres, FRESH POWER shifted out and made contact with the hindquarters of CITY LEGEND.
Approaching the 600 Metres, SHINING ON was awkwardly placed outside the heels of CARE FREE PRINCE which shifted out marginally from behind SUPREME WITNESS.
Passing the 600 Metres, CITY LEGEND was steadied away from the heels of SHINING ON and was then shifted to the outside of that horse.
FRESH POWER was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight.
Approaching the 400 Metres, SHINING ON and CITY LEGEND bumped. SHINING ON then shifted in and brushed the hindquarters of FLYING QUEST.
GOLDEN FOUR had some difficulty obtaining clear running passing the 300 Metres.
Passing the 300 Metres, FLYING QUEST raced tight inside CITY LEGEND which shifted in marginally. Then passing the 250 Metres, FLYING QUEST raced in restricted room between CITY LEGEND and CARE FREE PRINCE, both of which shifted ground. After the 200 Metres, FLYING QUEST again raced tight between CITY LEGEND and CARE FREE PRINCE, both of which again shifted marginal ground.
Near the 250 Metres, D Whyte (AVELLINO) dropped his whip.
Passing the 200 Metres, AVELLINO was checked when disappointed for running between GOLDEN FOUR and MONEY MARSHAL which was giving ground.
Over the concluding stages, CASHIN MINISTER was awkwardly placed between HINYUEN SWIFTNESS and SUPREME WITNESS and consequently was not ridden out all the way to the end of the race.
Close to the finishing line, SUPREME WITNESS raced tight inside the heels of FLYING QUEST and consequently was not able to be ridden out all the way to the end of the race.
A veterinary inspection of SHINING ON and SUPREME WITNESS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SUPREME WITNESS, FRESH POWER and CITY LEGEND were sent for sampling.
