Racing Incident Report

As the start was effected, TELECOM MISSILE bounded in the air and consequently lost ground. This resulted in TELECOM MISSILE racing back in the field. Before being allowed to race again, TELECOM MISSILE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.
SEVENTH SEA was crowded for room on jumping between ARDENODE and SCENIC SWEETIE, both of which shifted ground. A short distance after this, SEVENTH SEA was shifted away from the heels of ARDENODE which was taken out by CHUNGHWA JINGSHEN which was in turn taken out by WINNER’S HEART which was carried out by FLYING MONKEY which got its head on the side and shifted out despite the efforts of its rider. In this incident, ARDENODE was steadied away from the heels of CHUNGHWA JINGSHEN.
DRAGON IN FIELD and BOND A STAR bumped at the start.
SEA MONARCH and VALIANT ELEGANCE bumped on jumping. After this, from a wide barrier, SEA MONARCH was steadied and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
When being steadied to shift in to a position closer to the rail, SEA MONARCH travelled keenly for some distance approaching and passing the 800 Metres.
Making the turn near the 500 Metres and again rounding the Home Turn, FLYING MONKEY got its head on the side and lay out.
Passing the 400 Metres, BOND A STAR was awkwardly placed behind SCENIC SWEETIE.
At the entrance to the Straight, BOND A STAR shifted out and bumped DRAGON IN FIELD.
SEA MONARCH made the Home Turn very awkwardly.
On straightening, SEVENTH SEA was bumped by TELECOM MISSILE which improved to the outside of DRAGON IN FIELD.
Near the 150 Metres, ARDENODE was shifted out away from the heels of FLYING MONKEY to obtain clear running.
Throughout the race, WINNING WARRIOR travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that SCENIC SWEETIE had sustained a small cut to the left front coronet.
A veterinary inspection of WINNER’S HEART immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
TELECOM MISSILE, VALIANT ELEGANCE and CHUNGHWA JINGSHEN were sent for sampling.
