Racing Incident Report

MAJESTIC STAR stumbled at the start and then was bumped by SERGEANT PEPPER which shifted out.
SEVEN HEAVENS stumbled badly on jumping, shifted in and inconvenienced AMAZING CHOCOLATE which began only fairly.
RESOLUTE and EVERYONE’S VICTORY bumped at the start.
BEAR SLAM shifted out on jumping and inconvenienced HARMONY SPIRIT. Then from the outside barriers, HARMONY SPIRIT and BEAR SLAM were steadied and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover in the early stages.
Making the turn near the 700 Metres, SUNSET WATCH got its head on the side and lay in towards the heels of MAJESTIC STAR, resulting in SUNSET WATCH being awkwardly placed behind that horse.
At the 650 Metres, MEGA HEART went amiss and was retired out of the race. CALIFORNIA FOREST, which was following MEGA HEART, was checked away from the heels of that horse passing the 600 Metres. AMAZING CHOCOLATE, which was also following MEGA HEART, was shifted out to avoid that horse passing the 600 Metres, resulting in BEAR SLAM being taken wider. The Veterinary Surgeon subsequently reported that MEGA HEART had sustained an injury to the right front leg.
For the majority of the race, RESOLUTE travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of RESOLUTE, HARMONY SPIRIT and MAGIC SUPREME immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MAJESTIC STAR and EVERYONE’S VICTORY were sent for sampling. Samples were also taken from MEGA HEART.
