Racing Incident Report

AMAZING VICTORY became unbalanced on jumping when bumped by EL JEFE which shifted out. AMAZING VICTORY again became unbalanced after travelling a short distance when bumped by EL JEFE which again shifted out.
MY ECSTATIC and GIVE WAY PLEASE bumped at the start.
RATTAN KINGDOM began only fairly and then was bumped by CHEERY which began awkwardly and shifted out. After this, CHEERY and RATTAN KINGDOM were shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
JUDY’S STAR also began only fairly.
SPARKLING DOLPHIN began very awkwardly and then shifted out abruptly on jumping. After this, SPARKLING DOLPHIN was ridden along for some distance to obtain a forward position and throughout the race travelled wide and without cover before giving ground in the Straight. A veterinary inspection of SPARKLING DOLPHIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of SPARKLING DOLPHIN, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, SPARKLING DOLPHIN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
At the 900 Metres, RATTAN KINGDOM got its head on the side and shifted in away from the heels of AMAZING VICTORY. CHEERY, which was racing inside RATTAN KINGDOM and racing greenly, was inconvenienced in consequence. Then making the turn after the 900 Metres, CHEERY was checked away from the heels of RATTAN KINGDOM.
Making the turn after the 900 Metres, MY ECSTATIC became unbalanced when steadied away from the heels of STREET SCREAM.
Passing the 700 Metres, PACKING TREADMILL became unbalanced.
PACKING TREADMILL had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight and approaching the 300 Metres was shifted out away from the heels of WHISKEY NEAT to improve into tight running between that horse and ISLAND SURPRISE. FUN N GLORY, which was following and also having difficulty obtaining clear running, was shifted to the inside of PACKING TREADMILL in consequence. FUN N GLORY was then held up for clear running from passing the 250 Metres until after the 200 Metres.
STREET SCREAM lay in in the early part of the Straight.
Passing the 400 Metres, JUDY’S STAR was very awkwardly placed behind MELBOURNE HALL. Approaching the 300 Metres, SPARKLING DOLPHIN, which was giving ground, was inconvenienced by JUDY’S STAR which got its head on the side and shifted out.
EL JEFE was shifted out away from the heels of MELBOURNE HALL passing the 100 Metres to obtain clear running.
After the race, C Y Ho stated that it was hoped that MY ECSTATIC would be able to obtain a position behind the leaders in today’s race. He said despite riding his mount vigorously for a considerable distance in the early stages, MY ECSTATIC did not show as much early speed as anticipated. He said MY ECSTATIC did not travel strongly at any stage of today’s race and after being shifted to the outside of runners after the 600 Metres did not close the race off. A veterinary inspection of MY ECSTATIC immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
FUN N GLORY, PACKING TREADMILL and MELBOURNE HALL were sent for sampling.
