Racing Incident Report
VICTORIOUS SEEKER was withdrawn on 27.9.22 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). Before being allowed to race again, VICTORIOUS SEEKER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
On arrival at the Start, TAILOR MADE, which brushed a rail on entering the track, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said that in his opinion it was suitable to race.
MURRAY’S PARTNERS and SURREALISM bumped on jumping.
After the 1200 Metres, SUPER BUDDY was awkwardly placed behind LUCKY DIAMOND.
Approaching the 900 Metres, WONDER YEARS raced wide and without cover and making the turn after the 600 Metres was bumped by SUPER HONG KONG which, when shifting to the outside of BORN THE SAME DAY, was shifted out away from the heels of that horse.
KOWLOON GREAT had some difficulty obtaining clear running rounding the Home Turn and in the early part of the Straight.
Passing the 100 Metres, MURRAY’S PARTNERS was shifted out away from the heels of SUPER BUDDY to continue improving.
After the race, L Ferraris stated that after coming under pressure prior to the 400 Metres, SURREALISM gave ground noticeably in the early part of the Straight and given the manner in which the horse weakened, he did not ride SURREALISM out over the concluding stages as it was well beaten. A veterinary inspection of SURREALISM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Also after the race, A Badel stated that SUPER HONG KONG travelled well in the early and middle stages, however, after coming under pressure near the 600 Metres to improve its position did not quicken as he expected and then in the Straight finished off the race only fairly. A veterinary inspection of SUPER HONG KONG immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

LUCKY DIAMOND and TAILOR MADE were sent for sampling.
