Racing Incident Report

STARSHIP EIGHTY was slow to begin.
GLORY BO BO jumped awkwardly, shifted in and bumped LUCKY BANNER which also jumped awkwardly.
DASHING TRIUMPH and COURIER MARVEL bumped at the start.
CRAIG’S MASTER jumped awkwardly and then got its head up when being steadied in the early stages to take up a position closer to the rail. CRAIG’S MASTER then continued to over-race in the early and middle stages.
BEAU GOSSE over-raced in the early and middle stages and then shifted out when making the turn near the 800 Metres and continued to over-race until approaching the 500 Metres.
Approaching the 1100 Metres, JOYFUL CHAMPION shifted in and away from LUCKY BANNER and then was steadied to avoid the heels of that horse which shifted in when laying in and was subsequently corrected by its rider.
STRONGEST BOY raced wide and without cover from the 900 Metres.
Passing the 700 Metres FORERUNNER was momentarily tightened for room as a result of SMART BEAUTY shifting in when being steadied off the heels of COURIER MARVEL which over-raced in the middle stages.
STARSHIP EIGHTY was unable to improve its position from the 700 Metres when held up behind a number of runners before obtaining clear running after passing the 500 Metres.
LUCKY BANNER lay in in the early part of the Straight.
SMART BEAUTY lay in under pressure for some distance after passing the 400 Metres.
A veterinary inspection of DASHING TRIUMPH immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
GLORY BO BO, FORERUNNER and FAST BUCK were sent for sampling.
