Racing Incident Report
ROYAL BOMB, which was leaning on the inside of its barrier as the start was effected, began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of HANDSOME TWELVE.
FIND MY LOVE shifted in at the start and inconvenienced NORDIC STAR.
From wide barriers, SO WE JOY and LEADING FORTUNE were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, BEAUTY CHAMP got its head up when awkwardly placed outside the heels of WINNING DRAGON.
Making the turn after the 1400 Metres, TRADER got its head on the side and lay out.
After the 550 Metres, BEAR SLAM was shifted out away from the heels of BEAUTY CHAMP which got its head on the side and shifted out away from YES WE CAN. BEAUTY CHAMP was then shifted out away from the heels of WINNING DRAGON near the 500 Metres.
The performances of TRADER and NORDIC SKY, both of which finished tailed out, were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, TRADER and NORDIC SKY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of WINNING DRAGON, SATIRICAL GLORY and BEAUTY CHAMP immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ROYAL BOMB and HANDSOME TWELVE were sent for sampling.
