Racing Incident Report

PAKISTAN FRIEND jumped only fairly and then raced tight to the inside of SO YOU TRUST for a short distance.
CHING jumped awkwardly.
YEABOI jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
From a wide barrier, GENERAL WINNER was also shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Rounding the Home Turn and in the early part of the Straight, PAKISTAN FRIEND was held up for clear running behind DARCI JOY and then LOOKING COOL. PAKISTAN FRIEND was then shifted back to the inside of those runners where it secured clear running passing the 300 Metres. When under pressure in the Straight, PAKISTAN FRIEND was inclined to lay in.
GENERAL WINNER was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight and over the final 200 Metres lay in under pressure.
From the 400 Metres until approaching the 100 Metres, CHING had difficulty obtaining clear running when attempting to improve into a tight run between INDIGENOUS REALM and DRAGON PRIDE when it was reluctant to improve into that run.
For a short distance near the 150 Metres, TURQUOISE ALPHA raced tight to the inside of SO YOU TRUST when improving to that runner’s inside.
Near the 75 Metres, GOLD TACK and FLYING MOJITO bumped due to FLYING MOJITO shifting in slightly.
LOOKING COOL raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
After the race, C Y Ho (ONE HEART ONE) explained that from the outside barrier it was decided, in accordance with his pre-race instructions, to take up a forward position as it appeared there was a lack of speed in the race.
A veterinary inspection of LOOKING COOL immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea.
FLYING MOJITO and GOLD TACK were sent for sampling.
