Racing Incident Report

Approaching the 1200 Metres, SIGHT SPIRIT went amiss, resulting in its rider K Teetan being dislodged. As SIGHT SPIRIT and Jockey Teetan remained on the track and it posed a significant safety risk given the track could not be cleared before the field completed the remainder of the race, the race was subsequently abandoned and declared void. Jockey Teetan was subsequently examined by the Club’s Chief Medical Officer and passed fit to fulfil his remaining race riding engagement.
