Racing Incident Report

On jumping, HAPPY FOR ALL blundered when badly crowded for room between MULTIDARLING and SUPER HIGHWAY which shifted out abruptly. HAPPY FOR ALL was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages from a wide barrier.
MULTIDARLING, which was fractious in the barriers, jumped awkwardly and then was hampered when crowded between HAPPY FOR ALL and AWESOME TREASURE which shifted in slightly. In this incident, AWESOME TREASURE was bumped on the hindquarters by MULTIDARLING. After this, MULTIDARLING was shifted across behind runners in the early stages from a wide barrier.
SOARING PENGSHAN jumped only fairly.
SOARING TOWER jumped awkwardly and soon after was bumped by JUNEAU FLASH which shifted out, resulting in SOARING TOWER getting its head up and becoming unbalanced. SOARING TOWER was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages from a wide barrier.
Shortly after the start, LOST CHILD was crowded by ROUND THE GLOBE which was taken in by I GIVE which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider, S De Sousa.
Near the 1000 Metres, NOBLE ONE raced tight to the inside of BEAT HOLLOW when that runner shifted in and away from JUNEAU FLASH.
SUPER HIGHWAY was left racing wide and without cover after the 1000 Metres.
Approaching the 800 Metres, HAPPY FOR ALL blundered.
Between the 350 Metres and approaching the 200 Metres, ROUND THE GLOBE had some difficulty obtaining clear running before being shifted to the outside of JUNEAU FLASH near the 200 Metres to secure a clear run.
Over the final 200 Metres, MULTIDARLING lay in and proved somewhat difficult to ride out to the finish of the event.
JUNEAU FLASH raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
When questioned regarding the tactics adopted on I GIVE, S De Sousa stated that he was asked to ride I GIVE with cover today to endeavour to settle his mount. He said after jumping awkwardly, he endeavoured to comply with his instructions and obtain cover behind ROUND THE GLOBE, however, I GIVE raced ungenerously throughout the early and middle stages, got its head up on a number of occasions and refused to settle. He added that once positioned behind ROUND THE GLOBE, I GIVE raced fiercely and near the 900 Metres shifted out and became unbalanced when momentarily placed in restricted room between NOBLE ONE and LOST CHILD which shifted out slightly. As a consequence, HAPPY FOR ALL was steadied away from I GIVE. He said as a result of its racing manners, I GIVE was unable to finish the race off. A veterinary inspection of I GIVE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
After the race, L Ferraris reported that SOARING PENGSHAN lay out throughout the event. A veterinary inspection of SOARING PENGSHAN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Also after the race, JUNEAU FLASH was noted to have sustained a laceration to the right hind heel bulb.
BRAVE DREAMS and JUNEAU FLASH were sent for sampling.
