Racing Incident Report

As the start was effected, LUCKY QUALITY lowered its head and as a result jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
UNITED WARRIORS jumped only fairly.
From wide barriers, RED DESERT and RED LEADER were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Making the first turn approaching the 1000 Metres, RED LEADER commenced to race keenly and was steadied to avoid DENFIELD when being crossed by that runner. RED LEADER continued to race keenly throughout the middle stages. A short distance later, LITTLE FAIRY commenced to race keenly and got its head up when being restrained from the heels of AWESOME TREASURE. UNITED WARRIORS and MODEST GENTLEMAN, which were following, were steadied as a consequence.
Near the 500 Metres, UNITED WARRIORS and MODEST GENTLEMAN bumped due to both runners shifting ground, resulting in MODEST GENTLEMAN being placed close to the heels of LITTLE FAIRY for a short distance thereafter.
DENFIELD, which raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event, lay in under pressure over the final 200 Metres and proved difficult to ride out to the finish.
After the race, K Teetan (MODEST GENTLEMAN) reported that his mount raced too keenly throughout the event and as a result was left without a finishing effort. A veterinary inspection of MODEST GENTLEMAN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Also after the race, FLAMING PASSION was noted to have sustained a small cut to the right front leg.
A veterinary inspection of RED DESERT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
STORMTROUPER, FLAMING PASSION and DENFIELD were sent for sampling.
