Racing Incident Report

PRIME MINISTER jumped only fairly.
HANDSOME TWELVE lay in under pressure in the Home Straight.
After the race, L Hewitson (FLAMING RABBIT) reported that his mount travelled comfortably in the lead, but felt "flat” when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. Trainer D J Whyte stated that he will now freshen up FLAMING RABBIT prior to its next race start. A veterinary inspection of FLAMING RABBIT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of FLAMING RABBIT was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, FLAMING RABBIT will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Also after the race, L Ferraris (SAUVESTRE) could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection of SAUVESTRE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Following the race, K Teetan (WINNER METHOD) reported that his mount raced too keenly outside the lead and as a consequence was unable to finish the race off. A veterinary inspection of WINNER METHOD immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
THE GOLDEN SCENERY and FIND MY LOVE were sent for sampling.
