Racing Incident Report
WINNING DATA was slow to begin.
LEAN HERO and HORSESAIN BOLT bumped on jumping.
COPARTNER AMBITION shifted out at the start and bumped CHAMPION INSTINCT.
Between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres, OWNERS’ PRAISE was held up for clear running behind CHAMPION INSTINCT. OWNERS’ PRAISE was then shifted to the outside of CHAMPION INSTINCT and HORSESAIN BOLT in an attempt to obtain clear running near the 200 Metres, but again became held up behind COPARTNER AMBITION at the 150 Metres and could not be ridden out to the finish of the event.
Near the 200 Metres, BEAUTY MISSION improved into a narrow run between COPARTNER AMBITION and LEAN HERO and then raced tight between those two runners over the final 150 Metres, restricting its rider, M Chadwick, being able to fully ride his mount out to the finish of the event.
CHANCHENG GLORY raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
After the race, L Ferraris (TATTENHAM) reported that his mount hung out making the Home Turn and as a result ran wide. A veterinary inspection of TATTENHAM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Also after the race, L Hewitson (KING OF THE COURT) stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event which resulted in KING OF THE COURT not being able to finish the race off strongly. A veterinary inspection of KING OF THE COURT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Following the race, H Bentley (PROUD DRAGON) stated that his mount settled back in the field and failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection of PROUD DRAGON immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
OWNERS’ PRAISE, SUPER WINNER and COPARTNER AMBITION were sent for sampling.
