Racing Incident Report

1 3 RIGHTEOUS ARION (H059) Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and became unbalanced. Passing the 300 Metres was bumped on the hindquarters. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 12 CHOICERUS (H029) Passing the 300 Metres was momentarily crowded between RIGHTEOUS ARION and KOKUSHI MUSOU which shifted out before being corrected by its rider A Badel. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 8 TATTENHAM (H121) Taken out over the concluding stages.
4 4 SCOTCH TYCOON (G088) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
5 5 HIGH PERCENTAGE (G413) In the middle stages raced keenly. Over the concluding stages, RIGHTEOUS ARION shifted out under pressure, resulting in TATTENHAM being taken out towards HIGH PERCENTAGE which was taken wider.
6 1 KOKUSHI MUSOU (G006) After the race, A Badel stated that whilst his mount was not beaten too far, he felt its finishing effort was still somewhat disappointing. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
7 2 OUR LUCKY GLORY (G292) Jumped awkwardly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 1000 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from HAPPY SOUL. Brushed the running rail near the 550 Metres.
8 6 EVER VICTORIOUS (H422) Jumped only fairly and then shortly after was crowded between TATTENHAM and CHOICERUS which shifted out. Near the 1100 Metres raced tight between PRESTIGE MOOCHI which shifted in and away from MELBOURNE HALL and CHOICERUS which shifted out slightly. Over-raced throughout the middle stages and refused to settle.
9 11 PRESTIGE MOOCHI (H314) Crowded at the start. In the early stages raced keenly and approaching the 1000 Metres shifted out and away from TATTENHAM.
10 9 MELBOURNE HALL (D118) Crowded at the start. Approaching the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid PRESTIGE MOOCHI when that runner shifted out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 7 HAPPY SOUL (G249) Near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid EVER VICTORIOUS. After the race, L Hewitson stated that his instructions, from a wide barrier, were to ride his mount conservatively in the early stages. He said after settling back in the field, HAPPY SOUL raced in a disappointing manner. Trainer C S Shum confirmed the instructions issued. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 10 CALL ME MIGHTY (G464) No report.
