1 4 SCOTCH TYCOON (G088) When questioned regarding SCOTCH TYCOON leading, L Ferraris stated that whilst he was not specifically asked to lead, he was given the option of holding a forward position if his mount jumped well. He said after commencing well and when no other runner in the race showed intent to hold the lead, he allowed SCOTCH TYCOON to improve to the lead where it travelled comfortably. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 8 TRIUMPHANT WARRIOR (H430) Approaching the 1000 Metres was steadied when crowded between WIND SPEEDER which shifted out slightly and GOLDEN RISE which lay in. Close to the finish was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SCOTCH TYCOON. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 10 SO AWESOME (D258) No report.
4 6 GOLDEN RISE (H242) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
5 2 SOLID SHALAA (H228) Jumped only fairly.
6 1 JUMBO LEGEND (G266) Jumped only fairly.
7 5 HIGH PERCENTAGE (G413) Close to the finish raced tight between JUMBO LEGEND and SOLID SHALAA which shifted out. After the race, K Teetan stated that in the Home Straight his mount lay out and shifted ground and proved difficult to ride out.
8 12 CHOICERUS (H029) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 1000 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from JUMBO LEGEND.
9 11 WIND SPEEDER (E281) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 3 GOLDEN LINK (D222) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Raced keenly in the early stages and lay out on the first turn. Near the 450 Metres raced tight between MR GOOD VIBES and CHOICERUS which shifted to the outside of SIR HURRICANE. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 9 MR GOOD VIBES (H180) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
12 7 SIR HURRICANE (H449) Crowded shortly after the start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
