3 3 SUPERB CAPITALIST (H092) When questioned regarding his riding in the Home Straight, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that after leading the event, he rode SUPERB CAPITALIST vigorously hands and heels to the finish, however, did not utilise the whip as he had been instructed not to do so by Trainer A S Cruz. Mr Cruz confirmed the instructions issued.
4 9 RIGHTEOUS ARION (H059) No report.
5 2 TOMODACHI KOKOROE (H303) Bumped at the start.
6 8 ACT OF FAITH (H082) After the race, B Avdulla stated that when caught wide in the early stages he was obliged to shift across behind runners to avoid racing wide and as a consequence settled slightly further back than he had intended.
7 10 PARTERRE (E234) Jumped awkwardly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
8 6 HOSS (H055) Shortly after the start was crowded for room.
9 1 ATOMIC FORCE (G221) Near the 900 Metres was steadied away from heels, was bumped and became unbalanced.
10 11 CHAMPION METHOD (H366) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a minor laceration to the left hind pastern.
11 5 EXCELLENT FIGHTER (G343) Near the 900 Metres ATOMIC FORCE shifted out when being steadied away from CHAMPION METHOD and as a result made contact with EXCELLENT FIGHTER which became unbalanced. After the race, A Atzeni stated that EXCELLENT FIGHTER was disadvantaged by being obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a consequence gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
