5 13 ZOOM BOOM (G131) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Held up for clear running on the Home Turn. Approaching the 200 Metres was held up for clear running when crowded between UNBELIEVABLE and EIGHTEEN CARAT which shifted out. In this incident, ZOOM BOOM was bumped and became unbalanced.
6 10 EIGHTEEN CARAT (J104) Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by BRAVEHEARTS which was taken in by HOLY LAKE. Held up for clear running approaching the 250 Metres, then shortly after was bumped and became unbalanced. Near the 200 Metres was bumped and became unbalanced.
7 9 SOLEIL FIGHTER (J127) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
8 8 HOLY LAKE (H260) Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when positioned close to the heels of SWEET ENCOUNTER. Sent for sampling post-race.
9 12 SILVER UP (J078) Shifted in at the start and was bumped. Near the 300 Metres became held up behind HOLY LAKE and was then shifted to the outside of HOLY LAKE and SOLEIL FIGHTER to secure clear running approaching the 200 Metres.
10 2 BRAVEHEARTS (H389) Crowded shortly after the start.
11 11 POWERFUL WINGS (G225) Bumped on jumping. Shifted out and away from SILVER UP near the 250 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 3 UNBELIEVABLE (J130) Near the 200 Metres was bumped and became unbalanced. After the race, K C Leung reported that his mount, which was having its first race start in Hong Kong, would derive benefit from today’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 4 HUGE WAVE (J197) Jumped only fairly and then was crowded shortly after the start. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
14 14 I KEEP WINNING (H400) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WV THE HEIR (H459) Withdrawn on 11.2.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter BOURBONAIRE. Before being allowed to race again, THE HEIR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
