2 8 HINOKAMI KAGURA (H384) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 5 TRIUMPHANT WARRIOR (H430) Shifted out at the start and was bumped.
4 11 MIRACLES (G083) Blundered on jumping.
5 6 SPEEDY SMARTIE (H108) When giving ground passing the 200 Metres momentarily raced tight to the inside of FAST BUCK which lay in. After the race, Z Purton stated that he was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a consequence did not finish the race off strongly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 9 COOL BLUE (H011) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
7 7 STRIVE FOR GLORY (D186) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
8 10 AFFIRM (H306) Jumped only fairly. Despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 2 COLOURFUL PRINCE (E418) No report.
10 3 DIAMOND FLARE (H224) Kicked a rail whilst proceeding to the Start, examined by the Veterinary Officer on arrival at the barriers and passed suitable to race. Jumped only fairly and then was crowded shortly after the start between HINOKAMI KAGURA and TRIUMPHANT WARRIOR which shifted out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 12 BEAT HOLLOW (G414) After the race, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that with his mount up in class today, it was not suited by the fast early sectionals of the event. Trainer Y S Tsui agreed with the views of Apprentice Chung and stated that he may look to riding BEAT HOLLOW in a more patient manner in its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of BEAT HOLLOW was considered to be disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, BEAT HOLLOW will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
12 4 LIFE IS GOOD (H118) No report.
