After the event, rider reported that his mount hung out making the turn in the middle stages and finished the race off only fairly. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 106.
7 J359  LOVING VIBES  13/10/2024   97  LOVING VIBES (J359) after the event, rider stated that it was not his intention to hold a forward position, but after jumping only fairly, he rode his mount along in an endeavour to hold a competitive position. He said after improving to the outside of a runner and then the 3rd placegetter, he was obliged to continue to improve forward to avoid racing wide. He said as a consequence his mount settled more forward than anticipated. He added that his mount raced greenly and on the Home Turn shifted out and away from another runner and made contact with the 3rd placegetter. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 097.

9 H373  GLORY B  09/10/2024   89  GLORY B (H373) jumped only fairly. Over the final 100M was held up for clear running when disappointed for a narrow run - Race 089.
10 H297  RAGNARR  22/09/2024   44  RAGNARR (H297) was slow to begin. Trainer confirmed the instructions were to take up a forward position, but the horse settled further back due to it being slow to begin - Race 044.

After the event, rider stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position, but his mount failed to show sufficient pace to do so. He said as a result his mount settled further back in the field than intended. He added after being bumped by a runner near the 350M his mount did not finish the race off from that point. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Performance as compared to its previous starts was considered to be disappointing. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 053.
