After the event, rider stated that, from his wide barrier, he was given no specific instructions where to settle other than not to pressure his mount in the early stages. He said due to the pace of the event being run inside of standard time, his mount settled further back than what it had at its previous race starts, however, he was able to find a midfield position one-off - Race 096.

3 H065  WINNING HEART  27/10/2024   129  WINNING HEART (H065) crowded approaching the 1000 Metres. Near the 150M shifted out and away from a runner. After the event, rider reported that the intention was to settle a little closer on his mount, but after jumping well his mount took up a forward position and was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 129.

When questioned regarding the performance, rider stated that with the pace of the event being run outside of standard time in the early stages, his mount raced keenly and got its head up. He said as a consequence when placed under pressure in the Home Straight his mount responded only fairly to his riding. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 066.

10 G025  THE GOOD DEAL  01/10/2024   66  THE GOOD DEAL (G025) after the event, rider reported that his mount anticipated the start just prior to it being effected and as a result jumped awkwardly and lost ground. A warning was placed on the barrier manners of the horse. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a stalls test. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 066.

1 H304  E GLORY  30/10/2024   142  E GLORY (H304) jumped only fairly, shifted out and made contact with the hindquarters of a runner, resulting in that runner shifting in and the horse having to be checked when crowded. When commencing to finish the race off well was steadied and shifted to the outside of a runner near the 50M to continue into clear running - Race 142.
2 H271  MORE RICE  27/10/2024   129  MORE RICE (H271) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event, rider confirmed that from a wide barrier and his mount racing first up, he was instructed to ride it conservatively in the early stages. Trainer confirmed the instructions issued - Race 129.
