After the event, rider reported that his mount enjoyed a comfortable run throughout the race and after initially responding to his riding in the early part of the Home Straight was left without a strong finishing effort over the concluding stages, but he could offer no explanation for the performance. Trainer advised that he was satisfied with the performance of the horse and, in his opinion, would derive benefit from the second up performance, particularly with the horse stepping up 450M in distance from its first up run. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 127.
