After the event, rider reported that from the outside barrier he was instructed to hold an on-pace position. He said when caught wide early he elected to continue forward to lead to avoid covering additional ground. Trainer confirmed the instructions were to take up a forward position but not necessarily lead. He said the horse jumped well in the event with the hood being removed from its gear - Race 325.

After the event, rider reported that his mount, which was having its first race start in Hong Kong, would derive benefit from the race experience. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 344.

9 H439  LIFELINE EXPRESS  01/01/2025   316  LIFELINE EXPRESS (H439) jumped only fairly. Had some difficulty obtaining clear running approaching the 300M. Near the 150M was disappointed for clear running and was shifted out to continue into clear running - Race 316.

11 K033  ENDUED  01/01/2025   316  ENDUED (K033) near the 300M was hampered when taken out. When questioned, rider stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position than last start. He said when caught wide in the early stages he was obliged to make some use of his mount to cross a runner which resulted in his mount racing in a more forward position than what had been intended. He said as a result of the work it was obliged to do in the early stages his mount did not run on in the Home Straight. He added, in his opinion, his mount would be better suited by being ridden more conservatively in the early stages. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 316.
