Prior to declaring weighed-in the Stewards viewed the patrol films to ascertain if there were grounds for a protest/objection on behalf of the horse against the 3rd placegetter. When the Stewards were satisfied there were not sufficient grounds, having regard to the beaten margin and the manner in which both horses finished the race off, they declined to lodge a protest/objection when connections also did not seek to do so - Race 313.

She said after commencing well and when the pace of the event was being run outside of standard time throughout the early stages, her mount was able to lead the event without being pressured to do so. Trainer confirmed the instructions issued and stated that whilst he had expected the horse to be in a more forward position, he was surprised that it led the event - Race 313.

After the event, rider reported that the instructions were to endeavour to obtain a midfield position with cover. He said in the early stages when caught wide he was obliged to settle towards the back of the field to comply with the instructions. He said his mount then relaxed underneath him and as a result he was obliged to make use of his mount to maintain his position. Trainer confirmed the instructions issued - Race 349.

After the event, rider stated that when under pressure in the Home Straight his mount responded fairly, however, he had some concern with its action.
