After the event, rider stated that from the 600M his mount raced keenly and as a result shortly after he was obliged to shift to the outside of a runner at which point his mount commenced to improve into the race. He added that in the Home Straight he was of the view his mount's run had come to an end near the 100M which he attributed to the fact that the horse had improved into the event sooner than he would have liked. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 414.
