After the event, rider reported that from his wide barrier he was obliged to race wide and without cover in the early stages. He said as a result after the 800M he allowed his mount to stride forward to race outside the leader to avoid having to race wide. He added as a consequence his mount was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 399.

She added as a result of the manner in which his mount raced in the early stages, it gave ground when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 062.
