He said in the early stages his mount raced keenly, however, entering the Back Straight settled better. He added near the 900M his mount was obliged to race three wide when a runner improved to his inside, however, in his opinion, that did not affect his mount’s performance as he was able to remain racing with cover. He further stated that in the Home Straight his mount responded only fairly to his riding and coughed on a number of occasions after the winning post. Trainer confirmed the instructions issued. After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Performance compared to its previous race starts was considered to be disappointing. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 123.

After the race was found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 380.

After the race was reported to be lame in its right front leg. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 382.
