When questioned, rider stated that in the Home Straight he endeavoured to obtain clear running between two runners leaving the 250M. He said when his mount did not respond to his riding he then became held up from the 200M when disappointed for clear running when both runners shifted ground after which his mount finished the race off in a one-paced manner. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 460.

After the event, rider stated that from a wide barrier the instructions were to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. He said in the early stages when caught wide he was obliged to steady his mount towards the rear of the field to avoid covering additional ground - Race 462.
9 J080  FASHION LEGEND  09/02/2025   412  FASHION LEGEND (J080) was left racing wide and without cover from the 700M. Near the 450M was bumped. Over the concluding stages was steadied when taken out. After the event, rider stated that his mount travelled well during the event but failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 412.
10 J504  ICONICAL  19/02/2025   439  ICONICAL (J504) prior to declaring weighed-in, the Stewards gave consideration as to whether the horse had been afforded a fair start. After taking evidence from rider and Deputy Starter, the Stewards found that the horse lay on the side of the gates as the start was effected and lost ground. As the Stewards were satisfied that the horse had been afforded the opportunity to start with the field, the horse was declared a runner – Race 439.
