When commencing to give ground near the 50M shifted in slightly and made contact with another runner when that runner shifted out under pressure slightly. After the event, rider reported that his mount was able to obtain a position outside the lead in the early stages but failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 515. |

After the event, rider stated that the instructions from a wide barrier were to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. He said his mount raced keenly during the early and middle stages before failing to run on in the Home Straight. Trainer confirmed the instructions and advised such instructions were issued to allow the horse the opportunity to run out the 2000M of the race. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 562. |

questioned, rider stated that after being held up on the Home Turn behind a runner, he was able to improve to that runner’s outside near the 300M. He said after obtaining a narrow run, his mount was crowded near the 100M and in the circumstances he was not too disappointed with the performance of the horse. Then was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 193. |
