He said after considering the sectional times of the event and the times upon which his mount had run, rider agreed with the Stewards that in retrospect he would have been better suited by riding his mount in a more conservative manner in the middle stages to provide his mount with an opportunity to finish the race off in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 662.
