When questioned regarding his riding in the Home Straight rider stated that after placing his mount under pressure in the early part of the Home Straight he then observed a run develop between two runners after the 200M. He said as a result he then shifted his mount out with a view to taking that run, however, when that run closed after the 150M he was checked when disappointed. Following the race found that horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported - Race 651.
9 H200  URBAN TRIUMPH  16/04/2025   592  URBAN TRIUMPH (H200) shifted out at the start and was bumped. After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 592.
