Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 601.

Between the 300M and the 200M was held up for clear running. When being shifted out after the 200M made contact with a runner. For some distance after the 100M raced tight - Race 650.

When questioned rider stated that the instructions were to ride the horse in a midfield position to endeavour to obtain cover. He said in the early stages when the 6th placegetter was steadied to avoid a runner, his mount commenced to race fiercely and as a result was checked away from the 6th placegetter. He added that his mount continued to race fiercely throughout the middle stages and as a result near the 800M he shifted his mount out to commence a forward move and to provide it with clear running. He further stated that as a result his mount failed to run on in the Home Straight. Trainer confirmed the instructions and said such instructions were issued to attempt to provide the horse with the opportunity to finish the race off. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 630.
