When questioned regarding his riding in the early part of the Home Straight rider stated that his mount commenced to run on strongly after straightening. He said his initial intention was to improve between two runners, however, when he observed a runner commence to shift out he was of the opinion that run would close and as his mount was travelling strongly he elected to immediately shift to the outside of another runner with a view to following the eventual winner into the race. He said after being steadied and shifted out he was unable to continue out as he had the 5th placegetter positioned to his outside which resulted in his mount being held up for clear running until near the 200M after which it finished the race off well when improving to the inside of the eventual winner. After considering his explanation the Stewards were satisfied that the tactics adopted by rider in the Home Straight were reasonable in the circumstances - Race 711.
5 J305  WRITTEN CASA  21/05/2025   690  WRITTEN CASA (J305) when questioned rider stated that with his mount stepping up in distance he was instructed to hold a handy position. He said his mount travelled satisfactorily during the early and middle stages of the event, came under pressure from the 400M and failed to finish the race off. He added that, in his view, his mount may not have run out the 1650M of the event. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 690.
6 G123  AMAZING VICTORY  31/05/2025   718  AMAZING VICTORY (G123) between the 350M and the 200M was held up for clear running before being shifted in where it obtained clear running at the 200M - Race 718.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 732.
