When questioned rider stated that from a wide barrier he was obliged to make use of his mount to take up a position outside the lead. He said that was the principal reason for the horse performing disappointingly as compared to its last start on 23 April 2025 when it enjoyed a better run from an inside barrier on that occasion. After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Has since passed an official vet exam. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race - Race 692.

After the event rider reported that his mount travelled satisfactorily in the early stages but when asked for an effort in the Home Straight did not stretch out on the "Good to Yielding” track conditions. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 730.
