2 12 BOLD WIN (CE282) R Fradd -- Average away, mustered speed to hold forward spot, raced in 7th position 2 wide 4L off lead, in traffic on turn, obtained clear run from 300 M and showed great tenacity to pass all but winner.
3 8 HONEY MONEY (CC359) F Coetzee B/TT Began well, hard ridden to take up forward spot, challenged for early lead but finally crossed, raced behind leader with run of race, gained split at 250 M and charged to lead but couldn't hold out first two.
4 11 WINNING BULLET (CE260) D Whyte -- Okay to begin, allowed to stride forward when caught wide early to take up spot outside leader, travelled well throughout with moderate pace, tried hard in straight but a little one-paced. Looking for longer.
5 1 RUM SHOT (CE206) Y T Cheng B1 Away well, showed good early speed to take up running, dictated terms in front, tackled when entering straight and held on until 200 M but swamped late. Fair effort.
6 10 GALLANT FALCON (CD194) E Saint-Martin TT Jumped with field, trapped wide from outside draw, taken back to 3rd last 6L off lead, made run 3 wide with cover from 600 M, came between runners in straight and did best work late.
7 3 CIRCUIT KINGDOM (CB046) O Doleuze -- Fair to begin, restrained to rear, travelled in last throughout 7L from pace, tracked 3 and 4 wide on turn and came widest in straight. Made good ground giving too greater start. (See Racing Incidents.)
8 13 TREASURE RAIDERS (CE049) G Schofield CP Slow to begin, positioned 4th last proving difficult to settle, worse than midfield on rails thereafter 6L off pace, had good run to turn, held up entering straight, didn't have 100% clear running in straight but only battled to line.
9 14 PIONERO (CD402) A Delpech B Best away, raced 4 wide without cover in middle section when unable to cross, made run 5 wide on turn but early work took effect and only battled last 300 M.
10 9 DON RICARDO (CE262) C Munce -- Slow to begin and struggled in early stages, drifted back to 3rd last on rails 7L from lead, had field in front on home turn, made run between horses in straight and passed tired runners late.
11 5 BEST POWER (CG006) S Dye -- Average to begin, maintained position 3 back on fence 3-4L off lead, had soft run and travelled well to turn, failed to respond when placed under pressure and weakened out of it.
12 7 FLYING BISHOP (CA296) S Sanders B Broke with them trapped 3 wide 3L off lead in midfield, raced with cover throughout, made 4 wide run on turn and maintained effort until 300 M but couldn't sustain run and gave ground thereafter.
13 4 TACTIC KING (CG081) C Brown B1/TT1 Reasonably away, caught 3 wide without cover 2L off lead, remained 3 wide throughout facing the breeze came 3 wide on turn but lacked dash and condition gave out final 200 M.
14 2 AQUA-TREASURE (CE185) G Mosse CP Average to begin, ridden hard to hold position, raced 2 wide 4-5L from pace, tracked 3 wide on turn but only battled away in straight.
