8 FLORAL PEGASUS (CG011) S K Sit TT Away evenly, mustered great speed to cross them easily from outside alley, kept them going at an even clip, dictated to turn, kicked clear with 2L advantage in straight, kept going to win in style.
2 STABLE MAIL (CE184) F Coetzee -- Standard to begin, assumed usual spot near rear, pushed along to stay in position on rail 6Ls away, had good run thereafter, tracked into race well, followed rail in straight making good ground late to be closest at finish.
4 AMPLE GAINS (CE021) D Whyte B Average to jump, hard ridden to make up ground to be 3 back on fence 4Ls from lead, enjoyed run of race in mid-section, tracked leader nicely to turn, tried hard in run home but couldn't bridge gap.
9 PACKING ANGEL (CB223) H W Lai P Fair to begin, drove through to take up midfield spot, raced 2-wide 5-6Ls away throughout, well back and forced 4-wide on turn, finished race of well to make frame coming from too far away. Fair effort.
14 GLOBAL WIN (CG109) K L Chui B Away well, showed great speed to challenge for early lead, raced behind the leader thereafter having easy trip 2Ls away, hung out when making run in straight, kept up there to 200 M but place chance faded when tiring late.
13 CZAR OF PRUSSIA (CB378) Y T Cheng -- Bounced out with field, lacked early speed and drifted back to usual rearward trailing spot, raced 2-wide 8Ls away for most of journey, still well back on turn, finished race of well making some ground from impossible spot.
5 LIBERAL'S CHOICE (CC345) W M Lai B Broke well showed good dash to press on from wide alley to race outside leader 1L away, always working without cover, under hard riding to chase on turning, gradually faded out of it in straight.
1 FIVE GRAINS (CB280) C Munce -- Out with them, allowed to drift back and settle near to rear on rails 7-8Ls from speed, always pushed along, steadied slightly 400 M but only closed race off fairly when clear. Again never really comfortable on AWT.
7 MASTER GIGOLO (CC375) G Mosse TT Jumped with rest, no early toe, trapped 3 or 4-wide in midfield early, always working 5Ls away wide without cover in mid-section, hard ridden on turning and only plodded to line after hard run.
10 FASHION JEWELLERY (CD177) B Prebble -- Even break, soon gathered pace and pressed forward, held spot midfield with cover 4Ls from lead, travelled kindly in middle stages, offered nothing when asked for effort on turning. One-paced to line. (Bled.)
11 THE KING (CD384) W C Marwing B/TT Fairly from gates, slow to muster speed, hard ridden to keep improving, always working worse than midfield 3-wide 6Ls away, made run 4 and 5-wide from 500 M, never made impression and was beaten a long way.
12 LUCKY CHAMPION (CD178) G Schofield -- Average to begin, showed no early toe, settled at tail 10Ls off them, lobbed along in same spot to turn, swung wider in straight but offered nothing when asked and only plodded home.
6 JOYFUL SPIRIT (CB032) E Saint-Martin -- Broke well, allowed to roll forward to be 3-wide without cover 3Ls from pace, always working in mid-section, began to weaken out of it from turn. Showed nothing in straight. Never comfortable and beaten a long way.
TNP 3 LUCKY PARADISE (CB441) O Doleuze -- Didn't leave gates. Declared starter as did not receive unfair start.
