3 13 HOLEY DOLLAR (CK118) D Beadman XB1/H1 Began with rest, took ideal spot 1 out 1 back following decent speed, 2Ls down turning, hit front passing 200 M, looked set for victory but just caught final 50 M.
4 1 ONE WEE ACORN (CK143) D Whyte -- Standard jump, faded back, raced 7Ls away in running line, well back turning, shifted out and made good progress down middle to make frame despite being a margin from first 3.
5 11 BELONG TO CASA (CJ064) K C Leung -- Showed plenty of speed, held front despite early pressure, worried in mid-section, fought back on bend and held advantage to 200 M, battled on gamely once headed.
6 14 GOOD STRIKE (CJ351) M Du Plessis -- Slow into stride, ended up 8Ls away in 2 wide line near to last, made turn awkwardly, made steady progress in straight without really threatening, shifted 200 M. (Jockey reported never really comfortable.)
7 3 GOLDEN TREASURE (CJ087) B Doyle -- Fairly away, settled 4Ls away in 2 wide line, enjoyed reasonable run on back of speed, improved turning but unable to lift a notch at 300 M, weakened thereafter.
7 8 MANY GAINS (CJ051) Z Purton CP-/B2/TT Reasonable break, pressed on but caught 3 wide, had cover racing 3Ls off front runners, used some petrol in mid-section, pushed 4 wide turn, made no real headway despite steadied at 300 M.
9 5 EASY AHEAD (CK212) H W Lai V1 Began with rest, worked forward to challenge for front, forced to race 3 wide without cover, used too much to bend, weakened out final 300 M.
10 9 KARBRIDGE (CK251) W C Marwing -- Away well enough, took spot on leaders back, used a bit with, good pace on, niggled on turning, didn't find much and gradually faded out in straight.
11 10 LUCKYME (CH012) Y T Cheng -- No early speed, settled in rearward divisiion 8Ls back on fence, always well back, made no real headway and only passed beaten runners late.
12 6 NATIVE KID (CG317) W M Lai XB/TT Displayed usual speed to challenge for front, used a bit shading leader in pace battle, soon under pressure on turning, unable to keep on thereafter.
13 7 WHISKY POWER (CH291) M W Leung B/H Even jump, positioned 5Ls away on rails, had easy time on bend and saved ground turning, little response when pressed and plugged away late.
14 12 DR UNION (CK105) S K Sit SR/TT1 Jumped in air and lost ground, soon at rear 10Ls from leader, niggled throughout to hold spot, last turning, struggled.
