6 1 HAPPY DAY (G119) C Y Ho Shortly after the start shifted out and made contact with SHINKANSEN and became unbalanced. 2 2 CHATEAUNEUF (J219) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
9 3 GIANT LEAP (J143) A Hamelin As the start was effected reared and as a consequence lost ground. He said after rearing at the start and losing ground, he was obliged to ride his mount along in the early stages which resulted in GIANT LEAP racing keenly and being unable to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The barrier manners of GIANT LEAP were considered to be unacceptable and its performance to be disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, GIANT LEAP will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
