He said as a result he then shifted his mount out with a view to taking that run, however, when that run closed after the 150 Metres he was checked when disappointed. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. |

A Hamelin was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Saturday, 31 May 2025 and to expire on Thursday, 5 June 2025 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his neutral race riding record. Over the final 50 Metres was held up for clear running and could not be fully tested. |

He added LUCKY PLANET did not stretch out in the Home Straight and attributed this to the racing surface which was showing some effects of light rain which had fallen during the meeting.
