Manabu Ikezoe

Manabu Ikezoe hails from a racing family. His father Kaneo Ikezoe is a former trainer, while his brother Kenichi Ikezoe is a jockey. Ikezoe began working at Northern Farm before shipping to Ireland to work with Aidan O’Brien. He joined his father’s stable in 2006 and took out his own licence in 2015. He collected a first Group 1 after Dura Erede’s surprise victory in the Hopeful Stakes, while his 2024 outstanding performers include Mad Cool, winner of the Takamatsunomiya Kinen and Pradaria, who won the G2 Kyoto Kinen. He has over 270 wins.
