Racing Incident Report
The explanation tendered by S Dye regarding his weighing out without a girth was accepted. BRAVO LONGTEMPS missed the start. About the 800 Metres, LITTLE PLAYTHING was steadied when crowded by STERLING PERFORMER which was hanging in. GOOD MESSAGE, which was following, was checked in consequence. Also about the 800 Metres, WINNING HURRAH was steadied to avoid the heels of GOOD POWER which shifted to race outside the leader when barely clear. When WINNING HURRAH steadied, AFFAIRE D'AMOUR, which was following, was hampered in consequence. Near the 600 Metres, ROYAL PERFORMANCE got its head up and became unbalanced when being steadied away from the heels of GOOD MESSAGE. In the run to the winning post, MONZA KING was held up behind JEWEL BOX which was giving ground. GOOD POWER and JEWEL BOX were sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
