Racing Incident Report

When the gates opened, MISSION POSSIBLE bounded in the air, as a consequence lost a lot of ground. FUN MANAGER jumped awkwardly. Just after the start, SKY HAWK was awkward between BOLD VICTORY and TWEET which was taken out slightly by QUI VIVRA VERRA. From a difficult gate, TWEET was obliged to travel wide throughout and was not able to find any cover. Near the 600 Metres, BOLD VICTORY got its head up and on the side, hung in badly away from SKY HAWK and crowded WINNING LUCK. About the 500 Metres, BOLD VICTORY continued to race ungenerously, became unbalanced, got its head up and refused to maintain a position between WINNING LUCK and SKY HAWK. When BOLD VICTORY lost its position at about the 500 Metres, QUI VIVRA VERRA which was following was severely checked in consequence. Some inconvenience was also caused to NOBLE BOY. The performance of BOLD VICTORY was considered to be unacceptable and before the horse will be permitted to race again, it must perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial around a bend and from an inside gate. Also about the 500 Metres, MELROSE STAR was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of FUN MANAGER and inside the heels of FLOWERS PRIDE. On straightening, FLOWERS PRIDE was steadied and shifted in abruptly to avoid BOLD VICTORY. Near the 200 Metres, W M Lai (MELROSE STAR) dropped his off side rein. Near the winning post, MAGIC WIN was steadied when WINNING LUCK shifted in. Because of this, MAGIC WIN was not ridden out right to the finish.
