Racing Incident Report
BOWMAN'S CROSSING was withdrawn on race day morning on veterinary grounds (lame left fore). Before being permitted to race again, BOWMAN'S CROSSING will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. MERIDIAN STAR, which was standing awkwardly, was slow to begin, then shortly afterwards was bumped on the shoulder by MAGNIFIER which was carried out by RED SUN. Near the 500 Metres, DR MORE raced tight between HO CHOI and RAIDER. Over the concluding stages, HO CHOI got its head on the side and shifted out. This caused slight inconvenience to GOGGLES. R Fradd (ELECTRONIC UNICORN) was fined $2,000 for making a celebratory gesture well prior to the winning post. DR MORE and MAGNIFIER were sent for a clinical veterinary examination. A veterinary examination of both DR MORE and MAGNIFIER after the race did not reveal any significant abnormalities. ELECTRONIC UNICORN and MERIDIAN STAR were sent for sampling.
