Racing Incident Report
When the gates opened, GALLANT HORSE began awkwardly and bounded in the air, then in the early stages proved very difficult to settle. On jumping, TSZ WAN FORTUNE shifted in and bumped OPERA MAGIC. Also on jumping, PACIFIC ALLIANCE and NATIVE LANGUAGE bumped. After being crossed by UPBEAT near the 900 Metres, TSZ WAN FORTUNE proved difficult to settle. Some inconvenience was caused to FIFTY FIFTY which was following TSZ WAN FORTUNE. That horse then shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of GRANDWAY SHUTTLE which as a result became unbalanced. In the middle stages, GOLD MASTER got its head on the side and hung out and after the 500 Metres was awkwardly placed close to the heels of STRATEGUS. On straightening, EXULTATION was steadied away from the heels of FIFTY FIFTY. Near the 300 Metres, PACIFIC ALLIANCE was brushed by GALLANT HORSE which shifted out. At the 300 Metres, FIFTY FIFTY was steadied and shifted to the outside of GRANDWAY SHUTTLE to obtain clear running. M Rodd (GRANDWAY SHUTTLE) explained approaching the Home Turn his mount commenced to hang out, he therefore shifted his weight towards the right hand side in an effort to prevent TSZ WAN FORTUNE carrying him wider on the track, however, GRANDWAY SHUTTLE continued to shift out and this allowed TSZ WAN FORTUNE to improve on his inside. UPBEAT and FIFTY FIFTY were sent for sampling.
