Racing Incident Report
CRAIG'S DRAGON bounded in the air at the start and lost ground. MEDALLION, HORSE POWER and SOU MA TAM were slow to begin. TALE OF FRIENDSHIP began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of SUPREME GOLD. In the early stages, MISSION hung in badly, was reluctant to hold its position and approaching the turn at the 800 Metres gave ground. This caused some inconvenience to HORSE POWER which was following and as a consequence lost ground. In the early part of the Straight, JOLLY WONGCHOY hung in. After the 400 Metres, OUR LUCKY BABY, which was held up and unable to obtain clear running, was steadied and shifted to the outside of MAGIC KING to go forward. At the 250 Metres, M Nunes (LUCKY HERO) momentarily dropped his left rein. In the Straight, SOU MA TAM raced ungenerously, hung in, near the 200 Metres shifted in and made contact with the running rail. For the major part of the race, HORSE POWER raced greenly. LUCKY HERO, SHANGDONG GENERAL and OUR LUCKY BABY were sent for sampling.
