Racing Incident Report

On route to the track from the quarantine stables, ROCKET MAN shifted its left hind plate. This plate was refitted. ROCKET MAN was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. SWEET SANETTE was difficult to load. Before being allowed to race again, SWEET SANETTE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. LET ME FIGHT and LUCKY NINE bumped at the start. Despite being vigorously ridden along in the early stages, CERISE CHERRY failed to muster speed and consequently raced back in the field. Near the 700 Metres, LET ME FIGHT proved difficult to settle and got its head up when being checked away from the heels of ONE WORLD. A short distance later, LET ME FIGHT shifted out towards the heels of LUCKY NINE and became badly unbalanced. Approaching the 600 Metres, OUR LUCKY BABY shifted out when being steadied away from the heels of MULTIGLORY. Over the concluding stages, LITTLE BRIDGE got its head on the side and shifted out. Throughout the race, MULTIGLORY travelled wide and without cover. After the race, B Prebble reported that over the concluding stage SACRED KINGDOM commenced to lay in which was not usual for the horse. A veterinary inspection of SACRED KINGDOM after the race did not show any significant findings. SACRED KINGDOM, ROCKET MAN and ONE WORLD were sent for sampling.
