Racing Incident Report

SERENDIPITY shifted in at the start, inconveniencing JAZZY FEELING.
From wide barriers, DEMON DEMON and TOUCH WELL were taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
Shortly after the start, GLORY WIN and NO TIES bumped heavily, resulting in both horses becoming unbalanced and NO TIES then shifting out and bumping HAPPY HOMING which also became unbalanced. After this, GLORY WIN was ridden along to improve its position before being steadied and shifted in to obtain a position behind JAZZY FEELING.
Approaching the 800 Metres, TOUCH WELL got its head up when steadied away from the heels of GLORY WIN which shifted in slightly.
At the 800 Metres, DEMON DEMON got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of NO TIES which itself, when travelling keenly, raced close to the heels of JAZZY FEELING.
In the early part of the Straight, JAZZY FEELING, when being shifted out to obtain clear running, was awkwardly placed close to the heels of HAPPY HOMING which was commencing to give ground.
Near the 250 Metres, JAZZY FEELING shifted out and bumped NOVEL START.
Passing the 200 Metres, HAPPY HOMING, which was continuing to give ground, was eased away from the heels of CHINA GOOD which shifted out to obtain clear running.
Also passing the 200 Metres, GLORY WIN was steadied when disappointed for running between PURE FORCE and DEMON DEMON (Z Purton) which shifted to the inside of SERENDIPITY to obtain clear running. Z Purton was advised to exercise more care.
Passing the 200 Metres, PURE FORCE was steadied away from the heels of WELL DONE (C Y Ho) which shifted in. C Y Ho was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground in future. After this, PURE FORCE was held up for some distance when awkwardly placed close to the heels of WELL DONE.
Near the 150 Metres, NOVEL START and NO TIES raced tight due to both horses shifting ground.
Passing the 100 Metres, NO TIES got its head on the side, hung in and proved difficult to ride over the concluding stages.
Throughout the race, HAPPY HOMING travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of GLORY WIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
JAZZY FEELING, MR AWARD and DEMON DEMON were sent for sampling.
