Racing Incident Report

SPEEDY WALLY shifted out at the start and bumped SLEEP EDUCATION. After this, SPEEDY WALLY was shifted across behind runners.
REEVE’S MUNTJAC shifted out at the start and bumped RAZOR QUEST, causing that horse to lose ground when crowded for room inside PLAY WISE. Then a short distance after this, REEVE’S MUNTJAC was steadied away from the heels of FLASH FAMOUS which shifted out.
Despite being vigorously ridden in the early stages, STARLIT KNIGHT failed to muster speed.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, SLEEP EDUCATION was awkwardly placed inside the heels of MULTIGOGO. Then approaching the 1400 Metres, SLEEP EDUCATION was steadied away from the heels of MULTIGOGO (K Teetan) which shifted in. K Teetan was advised to ensure that he leaves comfortable racing room for runners to his inside in similar circumstances.
After the 1400 Metres, REEVE’S MUNTJAC got its head on the side and lay out towards the heels of RAZOR QUEST when reluctant to maintain its position inside that horse.
Making the turn near the 700 Metres, ASSOCIATION FANS shifted in, brushed the running rail and became unbalanced. FLASH FAMOUS, which was following ASSOCIATION FANS, also shifted in and brushed the running rail at the same point.
Approaching the 600 Metres, SLEEP EDUCATION was momentarily crowded for room between SPEEDY WALLY which improved around SLEEP EDUCATION and RAZOR QUEST which shifted out marginally away from the heels of STARLIT KNIGHT.
Throughout the race, MULTIGOGO travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that FLASH FAMOUS had sustained an overreach wound to the outside of the left front heel and that an endoscopic examination conducted on MULTIGOGO showed a substantial amount of blood in its trachea. Before being allowed to race again, MULTIGOGO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of SLEEP EDUCATION and SPEEDY WALLY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, both horses were unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
FLASH FAMOUS, BUDDIES and ASSOCIATION FANS were sent for sampling.
<9/5/2019 Additional Veterinary Report>After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that an endoscopic examination conducted on MULTIGOGO showed a substantial amount of blood in its trachea. MULTIGOGO was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A S Cruz this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. As previously advised, MULTIGOGO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
