2 2 AMAZING TEENS (E449) After the race, B Avdulla stated that his instructions were to endeavour to find an on-pace position with cover, but if he was unable to do so, he was given the option to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages to avoid racing wide. He added after being caught wide in the early stages, he elected to come back on his mount in order to avoid covering additional ground and as a result AMAZING TEENS settled further back in the field than what it had done in its previous race starts. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 8 DAZZLING FELLOW (G058) Bumped at the 200 Metres. Approaching the 150 Metres was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced. Sent for sampling post-race.
4 1 ROYAL PRIDE (E351) Approaching the winning post was steadied away from PRECISE EXPRESS (A Atzeni) which shifted in when not clear. A Atzeni was reprimanded.
5 7 HAPPY ANGEL (G133) No report.
6 12 CLASSIC ARCHI (G295) No report.

8 3 FLYING SILVER (E478) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 150 Metres was checked to avoid FOREVER GLORIOUS and then shifted to that runner’s outside to secure clear running.
9 11 CIRCUIT ELITE (E487) Lay in between the 200 Metres and the 150 Metres before being corrected by its rider Apprentice Y L Chung. Apprentice Chung was advised to exercise more care. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 5 REACH GOAL (G067) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, REACH GOAL will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Noted to have lost its right front plate after the race.
11 6 FOREVER GLORIOUS (G229) In the early stages raced keenly. Near the 200 Metres improved to the inside of CIRCUIT ELITE, resulting in FOREVER GLORIOUS making contact with DAZZLING FELLOW. M Chadwick (HAPPY ANGEL) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the 150 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of CIRCUIT ELITE, resulting in CIRCUIT ELITE being taken in onto FOREVER GLORIOUS, resulting in FOREVER GLORIOUS having to be checked and also making contact with DAZZLING FELLOW, which was positioned to the inside of FOREVER GLORIOUS. M Chadwick was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 15 November 2023 at Happy Valley. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his excellent race riding record. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 4 FOREVER FOLKS (G463) Slow to begin and then was crowded by ROYAL PRIDE which shifted out. After the race, A Hamelin stated that when he had concern with his mount’s action in the Home Straight, he did not ride it out to the finish of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of FOREVER FOLKS, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, FOREVER FOLKS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
WV VINCY (B213) Withdrawn on 28.10.23 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter PRECISE EXPRESS. Before being allowed to race again, VINCY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
